After I watched a documentary about Super Size Me, I think fast food is not the one to be blaming for the obesity problem in United States or even in the whole world. Why I said like that? because the first thing that we have to put the blame is on our self. It's obvious showed in the documentary that the life style of the people is the main factors of this problem, and I can say that it's all about us. In this documentary the host Morgan Spurlock has made an experiment about the fast food. The experiment is what will be happen if he eat fast food which he choose McDonald's in 30 days and for one day he has to take three times which is on breakfast, lunch and dinner.
It's really difficult for him at his first few days by eating McDonald's a lot, but after a few week he became addicted to eat McDonald's because according to Neal Barnard the Physicians Committee cheese have full case of morfin and same goes with soda and that will cause people addicted to eat fast food. So if you always eat fast food maybe three times a week you will slowly addicted to that food. Plus we not practice a good life style like do exercise frequently and take care of our diet that will raise our chances to get obesity.
Another part is what are the action for those who are producing a healthy food to encourage people to eat healthy food. It showed in this documentary that The Fiber Day Food and Vegetable Campaign is just 2 million in a year. So if this happened how we want to educate people especially the young generation to start eating healthy food if our promotion is to low. It's showed when Morgan showed few picture to the kindergarten kids and when he show the picture of Ronald McDonald's all the kid easily recognize that picture, so it's showed that how much McDonald's spend their money for the promotion for his product. So please do not put the blame on the fast food only because the just do their business, so starting from now change your eating habit, your life style so that you will get a good health in future.

Certainly agree with you, people should blame themselves, they have the choice. This is the problem of our generation, they like to blame others when it is their fault they become obesity
ReplyDeletei agree with both of you, fast food is not the one to be blaming for the obesity problem because people eat fast food but they not practice a good life style and do exercise!
ReplyDeleteabsolutely fastfood restaurant is not the fault for the cases of obesity and i'm totally agreed that people itself are should be blame because they don't take a good lifestyle such do exercise.
ReplyDeletethat's right syaz, fast food is not guilty! I love fast food, I eat fast food a lot, but.. after that, I'll exercise. stop blaming fast food!
ReplyDeleteI don't think by blaming fast food companies can solve the problems. We as the consumers must know what is actually the contributor for obesity. I think that attitude of a person should be blame.
ReplyDeleteI believe that 90% of foods in McD are bad. Fast foods are only providing foods that are high in fats and it is not too much to say that fast is also the highest contributor of obesity.
ReplyDeleteit is not the fast food restaurant fault as people get obesity , yet the people themselves allows the obesity happens without handle the way of eat in daily life properly
ReplyDeletefast food not the cause of obesity, people itself do not know how to control their self. just blame your self not fast food...
ReplyDeletei am strongly agree that fast food is not the main contributor to obesity problem. we should put the blame on ourselves too since we lack of practising physical activities. im sure if we consume fast food and at the same time we exercise, it will reduce the percentage of obesity in the world.
